Living in the tropical, shallow regions of the Dorite Sea, this descendant of the Dappershell has evolved to be faster and more sleek, as it now feeds on faster organisms. They now have evolved a hooked beak to help catch faster prey items.
Like their ancestor, Swiftshells will feed on shelled organisms such as Spotted Nautstar and Wormreef. However, it will also feed on creatures with skeletons such as Starcrushers and Insidiators. The males are larger and more bulky than the females and generally feed on more slow-moving creatures, while the females are smaller and slimmer. They use this to their advantage to catch faster prey items, which is quite an interesting way for the sexual dimorphism to increase.
